Clapmi Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "Clapmi "refers to the company operating the Platform.
• "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
• Creators: Users who stream, upload, or publish content.
• Fans: Users who view content, clap, gift, or interact with creators.
• "Content" refers to any video, image, audio, text, or other materials uploaded or shared.
• "VIrtual Items" include claps, coins, gifts, or in-app items that may be purchased or earned.

2. Eligibility

You may use Clapmi only if:

• You are at least 16 years old,
• You have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement,
• You provide accurate and complete registration information, and
• Your use complies with all applicable laws.

Clapmi may refuse access or terminate accounts that violate these requirements

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activity occurring under your account

Clapmi is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful and permitted purposes.

You must not:

• Upload or stream harmful, abusive, pornographic, violent, or illegal content.
• Engage in bullying, harassment, or hate speech.

Clapmi reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts at its sole discretion.

5. Content Ownership and License

This license ends when you delete your content, except:

• Backup copies may remain temporarily,
• Content shared publicly or with other users may remain accessible.

6. Virtual Items (Claps, Coins, Gifts)

• Virtual items may be purchased using real money or earned through participation.
• Creators may receive earnings through gifts, votes, or competitions, subject to Clapmi’s payout policies.
• Clapmi may modify virtual item pricing, rewards, or earning structures at any time.

7. Payments, Withdrawals, and Earnings

Creators may earn money through:

• Gifts,
• Votes,
• Competitions,
• Loyalty programs.

8. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Nudity, sexually explicit content, or sexual acts
• Violence, self-harm, or dangerous acts
• Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, or violent threats
• Fraud, scams, phishing, or impersonation
• Unauthorized commercial activities
• Streaming copyrighted material without permission

Violation may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property relating to the Platform, including software, design, branding, and trademarks is owned by Clapmi. Users may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the Platform without permission.

10. Termination

Clapmi may suspend or terminate your account:

• For violating these Terms,
• For suspicious or harmful activity,
• For non-compliance with legal requirements,
• Or at your request.

Upon termination, you lose access to virtual items, earnings, and content stored on your account.

11. Third-Party Services

Clapmi integrates services such as payment processors, analytics tools, and login providers.

Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Clapmi is not responsible for third-party actions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Clapmi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Clapmi is not responsible for user-generated content.
• Use of the Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

You assume all risks associated with using live-streaming and interactive features.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clapmi, its employees, partners, and affiliates from:

• claims,
• damages,
• liabilities,
• losses,
• or expenses.

arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Terms

Clapmi reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Nigerian legal procedures.
